DVD for Young Industry Ambassadors.

Global Vision Media produced a high quality DVD for the Department of Industry, Innovation and Regional Development (DIIRD) that incorporated a full video introduction profiling the career paths of a number of young people working in the manufacturing industry.

Students got to see and hear what working life was really like for young men and women in manufacturing.

Many outdated notions about manufacturing being dirty, low paid and monotonous were challenged. The audiences were often surprised at the variety of careers available to them in this industry.

The DVD also included another twelve studio-style interviews with other young people working in manufacturing. Topics included everything from the subjects they studied at school, to their hopes for the future. Some statistical information in the form of graphs and tables were also accessible via the DVD menu, further supporting the Ambassadors' presentations as they addressed school students.

The feedback to DIIRD has been overwhelmingly positive.
