At Global Vision Media we not only apply the crucially important principles of accessibility and usability to web design, but also evaluate existing clients' websites for legal and practical compliance with these principles.

Our decade–long experience in website development and online communication has equipped us well to evaluate existing websites for compliance with Australian and international standards and guidelines for accessibility and usability, as well as for design aesthetics.

Accessibility means the degree to which a site is accessible to all users, irrespective of personal, physical or technical restrictions.

Usability is a measure of how easy a website is to use, particularly in relation to the reasons for which users visit the site.

Organisations in both the government and private sectors have been surprised to discover that their websites fail to comply with basic standards and guidelines. In some cases this lack of compliance has been grave enough to risk legal action by user groups.
