WAGPET - Aboriginal Health

Global Vision Media has a long-standing relationship with WAGPET. Our most recent collaboration was an online module intended to 'engage learners and encourage them to explore and learn about Aboriginal culture, history and health contexts in Western Australia.' The module is intended to stimulate peer discussion and facilitate the learner in thinking about, and wanting to further explore, the issues surrounding Aboriginal health in Western Australia.

MFB Head Office Induction

Melbourne's Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board (MFB) needed an induction module for MFB staff, showing the unique features of the new Head Office before they moved from their existing premises.

Global Vision Media's solution was an interactive virtual tour of the new facility, with video and other rich media blended into a single eLearning session.

Using a floor plan as their 'map', MFB staff undertook their own self-paced exploration of the new complex. A Fire Officer personally guided the audience through some areas of the building to explain to specific features. Information and key locations were highlighted with video, photos, textual and other materials.

Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)

ASIC MoneySmart Teaching was designed for upper primary school students to support the development of skills, knowledge and behaviours related to the responsible use of mobile phones. The activity supported the National Consumer and Financial Literacy Framework for Years 6 and 8 and the Australian Curriculum Foundation Year 5 to 8 for English, Mathematics and the General Capabilities.

Minova Australia

Minova needed eLearning to achieve consistency in the way tasks were performed by its mining and tunnelling ground stabilisation teams.

In the assessment at the end of the training, trainees have to participate in simulated workplace scenarios, selecting the correct Personal Protective Equipment and using pump controls to operate interactive working models of pumps.

Life Education Australia: Talk About It

As part of the Talk About It program for Life Education Queensland, Global Vision Media developed the activity 'The Sleepover'. 'The Sleepover' is targeted at students in lower-secondary school and uses the power of story-telling to engage students with relatable characters in a situation involving cyber bullying and responsible use of social media.
